Jaxon's Birthday Celebration!!

Jaxon was so cute!! He loved being the center of attention for a whole weekend!! On his birthday, he was just happy all day. I know he didn't understand what a birthday was, but every time someone would sing to him or make a fuss over him, he would grin from ear to ear, or even laugh out loud!! On his birthday, we had our normal Wednesday routine, where my sisters come over for dinner and to hang out for the night. We just went and got some pizzas for dinner, which I knew he would love. And then I made some brownies and got some ice cream for desert. We saved the cake for his party. He had fun with everyone and just kept grinning at all of us!!

His birthday party was on a Sunday night. We had family over and had dinner. When it was time for presents, he loved being the center of attention.

It didn't take him long to figure out how to get things out of the gift bags!! He loved the paper!!

Aunt Jana made his cake!! Brady wanted to have NY on it for the New York Yankees, but there was not enough room, the cake wasn't huge. But it was perfect for what we used it for!!

Our tradition for the first birthday is to make a cake that the birthday child can have all to themselves. Don't worry, we had desert for the rest of us!! \"/ Some of my kids have not even touched the cake when I have set it in front of them. Not Jaxon, he dove in and got right to business!! He LOVED it!!

The night of his party, he was up for several hours. I think he had a sugar high, I know, give me the "Mother of the Year" Award. But hey, you only turn 1 once!! He had a great birthday and is one spoiled child!! But I wouldn't have it any other way!! I love you Little Red!!
